　　　　ART EXHIBITION UPDATE:
　　　　
　　　　Among other artists, we are going to be showing the work of a local
　　　　expat, Gavin Munroe.
　　　　
　　　　
　　　　"Gavin grew up in Manchester, in the north of England. He's played
　　　　guitar for years, straight through the Madchester years, writing and
　　　　performing his own songs in various bands around the worlds.
　　　　
　　　　
　　　　He has drawn and painted since he was young . He has lived in Hangzhou
　　　　for 2 years now and has worked on several collections since he's been
　　　　here.
　　　　
　　　　
　　　　He is currently working on a collection of paintings influenced by the
　　　　'iconic pop art', which originated in America and England in the
　　　　1960's with artists such as Andy Warhol and David Hockney.
　　　　
　　　　
　　　　His paintings can be found around Hangzhou in bars, restaurants and
　　　　homes. He also recently sold a piece to a buyer in The Philippines..."
