《立春》

中国文革后一位歌剧爱好者的故事。

《立春》讲述了蒋雯丽扮演的王彩玲在小县城学校教授音乐，虽然貌不出众，但她却有一副好嗓音，对歌剧尤其着迷。然而，闭塞小县城的普通百姓对歌剧并不感冒，志不得意的王彩玲一心想要调到北京，在那里一展歌喉发挥自己的天才。事业和爱情在她的身上同样不如意。而她对别人的一次乐善好施，却再次面对了一场谎言。在新年的祝福里，王彩玲感到冬天快到了尽头，立春了，一切都不会远了。

顾长卫的第二部电影（继《孔雀》之后），探讨了文革以后时代的思想和艺术个性。他的妻子、知名演员蒋雯丽，为角色需要而增肥，以精湛的演技获得了罗马电影节最佳女演员奖。

导演顾长卫将到场与观众讨论，并回答提问。

An Italian opera wannabe in post Cultural Revolution China
Set in a industrial Chinese town in the 1980s, And the Spring Comes follows the dreamy ambitions of opera star wannabe Wang Cailing. This unattractive devotee of Italian opera lives with her fellow factory workers yet clearly sees herself on a higher social plane. Beijing holds a promise of art and enlightenment, but Wang Cailing’s attempts to enter this world result in painful rejection and complications in her relationships with her hometown inhabitants and the other misfits she involves herself with.
Gu Changwei’s second film (after “Peacock”) to explore the post Cultural Revolution era explores ideas of individuality and artistic hopes with Chekhov-like tragi-comic abandon. Gu’s wife and lead actress Jiang Wenli, who put on many kilos for this difficult role, deservedly took the Best Actress Award at the Rome Film Festival.
Director Gu Changwei will be on hand post screening to discuss the film and answer questions from the audience.
