Henk de Vlieger The Ring – an orchestral adventure Emmanuel Pahud’s appointment as the Berlin Philharmonic’s youngest ever Principal Flute launched him into the international arena. His performances have charmed and thrilled audiences all over the world, whether as a concerto soloist or shining through the glowing sonorities of his home Orchestra. Edo de Waart’s affinity with the music of Wagner stems from a lifelong love of this music and decades of experience conducting those massive music-dramas which changed the course of opera for ever.
